US imposes sanctions against Russian training center, 2 firms
WASHINGTON, May 21 (PRIME) -- The U.S. Department of State has introduced restrictions against two Russian companies and a training center from May 14, as seen by PRIME in a statement of the department’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation on Tuesday.
The sanctions were imposed on Moscow Machinery Plant Avangard, a design engineering bureau in Tula, and a missile defense training center in Gatchina.
The restrictions envisage a ban on purchases of the companies’ products by U.S. firms, among other things.
